Enugu State governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has rewarded players, technical crew and management staff of the state owned clubside, Enugu Rangers with a whopping sum of N41.5m for winning the 2015/2016 Nigeria Professional Football League title.
The sports-loving governor also gave the players and their staff a plot of land each in a newly designed Rangers Estate in Enugu.
Ugwuanyi announced the gesture during the reception organized for the team on Monday at the Okpara Square in Enugu.
Also at the occasion was the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa'ad Abubakar who is an avid supporter of the Flying Antelopes.
The Coal City side broke a 32- year title drought to win NPFL crown last season.
